Simone Menezes

Admired as „a profound and independent artist and thinker“ by Classical Music Magazine, Brazilian conductor Simone Menezes is reknown for her exceptional musical and artistic intelligence and her innovative performances. She is the founder and director of Ensemble K, a chamber music orchestra known for its cosmopolitan approach to classical music.

In 2023, Simones album „Amazonia,“ was released, featuring music of Philip Glass and Heitor Villa-Lobos. This repertoire, Simone has performed in collaboration with the renowned brazilian photographer Sebastião Salgado.

In the same year, Simone was elected as one of the „100 femmes de culture,“ recognized as one of the most inspiring women in the Francophonie.

Stefan Stroissnig

The Austrian pianist Stefan Stroissnig, born in 1985, studied with Oleg Maisenberg in his native city of Vienna and with Ian Jones at the Royal College of Music in London. He received further artistic inspiration from renowned pianists such as Daniel Barenboim and Dmitri Bashkirov. His concert activity as a soloist has taken him to all five continents and to the most prestigious concert houses in Europe, such as the Royal Festival Hall in London, the Vienna Musikverein, the Vienna Konzerthaus and the Berlin Philharmonic.

His contribution to the international musical world earned Stefan Stroissnig a nomination for the Credit Suisse Award from the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra.

Vienna Chamber Orchestra

Founded in 1946, the Vienna Chamber Orchestra is one of the world’s leading large chamber ensembles.
Benjamin Britten, Daniel Barenboim, Alfred Brendel, Sándor Vegh and Yehudi Menuhin are only some of the various artists that have been partners of the orchestra.
The Vienna Chamber Orchestra has its own concert series in Vienna. In addition to that and since 2012, the Orchestra is partner of „Theater an der Wien“ and the Vienna Chamber Opera.

Wiener Musikverein Quartet

The Wiener Musikverein Quartet or Küchl-Quartet has been founded in 1973 by the legendary concertmaster of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, Rainer Küchl.

Between 1976 and 2021 it has its own concert-series at the famous Vienna Musikverein and perpetuates the over 150 year old tradition of a string-quartet cyclus of „Gesellschaft der Musikfreunde Wien“ at Musikverein.

The Quartett performs regularly in Austria, Europe and Overseas and takes often part of important Festivals such as Salzburger Festspiele, Wiener Festwochen, Salzburger Mozartwoche, Carinthian Summer, Montreux, Bologna, Flandres.
